A Closer Look: Performance Support, Incorporated, is a woman-owned small business with operations headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama. Additional operating areas include California, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Oklahoma, Utah, and various sites within Alabama. We began in 1985 as subcontractor to Unisys Corporation, performing computer quality assurance and system optimization services in support of United States Air Force global operations. We take extreme pride in having supported crucial Department of Defense combat operations like Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Desert Fox, Have Comfort, Deny Flight and Enduring Freedom; natural disaster relief missions like Hurricane Andrew at Homestead AFB, FL, Oklahoma's killer tornado at Tinker AFB, OK; Katrina's aftermath and current actions underway in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as other critical human rights missions within information assurance and assured computing - contingency operations. Likewise, we take pride in helping our commercial clients achieve their important business objectives on time and within stated costs using cost-effective and affordable information technologies. The Performance Support team is successful in building long-term professional relationships with our customers because we are committed to providing them with information technology services that are superior in teamwork, quality, value, and integrity. We provide our customers with computer professionals who are certified and experienced experts in their field; who are innovative yet practical in tailoring technologies into the most cost-effective solutions for their clients. Growth in internet applications, website development, e-commerce, and web-enabling has also encouraged us to move further into these aspects of information technology services, all the while being mindful of our customers' needs. In addition to caring for our business partners, we are also deeply involved in our community. The founders, executive officers and team members all share a common trait in giving back to the community, the region, and the state. Our activities include board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce, the Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School, and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association; we have served on the Information Technology Committee in local and state capacities while on the board of the Alabama Information Technology Association; Advisory Council to both Tuskegee University and John Patterson Technical College and hold memberships in Kiwanis Club, Wright Flyers, and Air Force Association.
